Occupational Therapy is a doing therapy. We use activity as a therapeutic tool to support you to overcome the barriers to your wellbeing.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy supports you to live a fuller life through activity and meaning. It’s about what you do, why it matters, and what might be getting in the way. We’ll work together to explore the challenges you face — physical, emotional, sensory or cognitive — and build strategies to support daily life.

I work with both adults and children, looking beyond diagnoses to understand your unique situation. Therapy is always tailored — no two sessions are alike — but all are collaborative, activity-based, and rooted in everyday function and wellbeing.

What to Expect

Sessions begin with an assessment of your current wellbeing and challenges. Together, we explore your goals and create a practical plan grounded in everyday activities. This may include:

  • Hopes & Plans – understanding your goals and how you organise and act on them

  • Roles & Routines – reshaping your day-to-day structure for more ease and purpose

  • Sensory Processing – learning how you interact with your environment and how to self-regulate

  • Emotional Regulation – building awareness and tools to respond rather than react

  • Occupational Balance – finding the right mix of work, rest, and play for you

  • Future Planning – creating a wellbeing toolkit and plan for change or uncertainty

After each session, you’ll receive a written summary and tailored resources to support your progress.
